Hey what a sweet challenge. I will seriously ask Mr. Parris if he is up for this one. One thing I learned early on when praying with him is that it is not the time for me to try serious “carpet sucking” intercession. Some of the wives out there are quick to complain that their husbands are not “spiritual enough,” but if we just take all the pressure off and enjoy like you said, a quick connection and simple “popcorn” prayer, than things will be less likely to get annoying for our spouse.
I love the Carpet Sucking intercession line Gina…Hilarious! We have found it to be true – at least in our house – she just has more words, and more to pray about openly than I do… be it her wiring, or the need to communicate, or being more spiritual
…she just does!! So, this type of prayer does make it easier for the guy – and helps it balance the room a bit
